The Feathertale Review - Patrick deWitt Portrait

Back in November I was asked to complete a black and white illustration for The Feathertale Review. I was so excited for this project because I have always wanted to do work for this magazine.  It's truly a one of kind publication and I'm so happy to have been a part of it.

For this assignment I was asked to do a portrait of author Patrick deWitt. He is most famously known for writing the critically acclaimed novel The Sisters Brothers. It's a western themed novel that is about two brothers who are murderers for hire. If you are unfamiliar with the author I hope my illustration will help you remember his face. I find his features are very unique/memorable.

This is the cover of the magazine.

Here's a peak of the inside.

A big thanks to Lee Wilson and Brett Popplewell.

Debbie Harry 4 Sarah

This is an image request by Sarah (incase you couldn't already tell lol). We are doing an image exchange and this was my end of the deal. I actually really like how it turned out. Thoughts?
