The Feathertale Review - Patrick deWitt Portrait

Back in November I was asked to complete a black and white illustration for The Feathertale Review. I was so excited for this project because I have always wanted to do work for this magazine.  It's truly a one of kind publication and I'm so happy to have been a part of it.

For this assignment I was asked to do a portrait of author Patrick deWitt. He is most famously known for writing the critically acclaimed novel The Sisters Brothers. It's a western themed novel that is about two brothers who are murderers for hire. If you are unfamiliar with the author I hope my illustration will help you remember his face. I find his features are very unique/memorable.

This is the cover of the magazine.

Here's a peak of the inside.

A big thanks to Lee Wilson and Brett Popplewell.

Winter Village - Commission

Back in December I was commissioned to create a winter village scene. I really didn't want to make it look too Christmas-y so I made sure to leave out any holiday lights/decorations.

I recently received my very own copy of CMYK Magazine's latest issue including their Top 100 New Creatives section which I landed 3 images in. Thank you very much to judge Scott Bakal for selecting my work and I also want to thank CMYK magazine for the opportunity.
