WOW! FINALLY! That only took about... hmm... 6 months? I definitely didn't think it would end up getting printed but I'm quite suprised it did haha. I am so pleased with how it turned out. Definitely worth it! Here are some crappy shots that I took of the book. My scanner is back in Oakville (as I am spending the holidays in Ottawa) and can't scan it. I don't think I'm going to end up making better shots, it's just for your viewing pleasure :)! I was their featured artist so I am on the cover, the back image, and three images in the centre. I had no choice in the cover image so if you're wondering why they put that on there... I have no idea haha. I only gave them that as a filler. I didn't actually think they would use it, especially as the cover! To each is own I suppose :)

Art to Myself
I have spent the entire semester just doing homework and partying, and the other day I realised that I haven't done any art for myself recently. Even though I had an exam today, last night I thought that my art was more important haha. I take my free time for granted. I look at the third/fourth years and how busy they are. A lot of them don't have time for their own art. I need to start being more passionate about where I'm going in life. Here's a start :)!!

Seeing Outloud
So for this semester's final project for interpretive class we have to illustrate, or narrate I should say, a story that we were given. We had the choice between a story of a New York subway experience, or a circus town story. I ended up choosing the New York one because I thought I could do more with it... This is the first panel of four. I just wanted to see what it would look like on a computer haha

The Second Year
I'm definitely going to try my best to stay away from deviantart as much as possible. Second year is all about change; Change in media, change in perspective, but mostly change in myself. I really want to grow as an artist and I will try and use this blog to document my progress :)!
This perticular piece is just some random things that I found around the house and thought I would make some art with it haha. Most of it was just ripped out and glued. Even the doodle, just something I did in my binder during class. Oh well, this is my "journal" cover, I thought I would just keep one after the journal presentations for the first year illustration students. It will probably just be a doodle book but that's what I like so I look forward to see what I'll do.
