FREEBIE - Wallpaper by Kyle Brownrigg

About a month and a half ago I put together a promo for advertising companies. I thought it would be neat to have a wallpaper for their desktop. The time of this promo has passed so I am sharing it with you. Please feel free to save this as your wallpaper. Just select which screen size you would prefer below and then follow the instructions that  I have provided:

1024 x 768     |         1280 x 1024     |     1600 x 900

To set the image as your desktop background, please select a size that best fits your monitor above by clicking on the image above the numbers. Once the image has fully loaded, right click on the image and select:

"Use Image as Desktop Picture" (for Safari)
"Set as Desktop Background" (for Firefox)
"Set as Background" (Internet Explorer)
"Set Image as Wallpaper" (Chrome)

Homegirls - Nellie McClung

This is my piece for the homegirls show at Pentimento gallery. The show's theme is about Canadian women throughout history. Throughout the month of august, there will be votes designated to the the choice image to be put up as a mural on the side of the gallery.

I chose to illustrate Nellie McClung. For those who are unaware of whom she is, Nellie McClung was a activist for female rights. She was a member of the famous five and fought for the acceptance that women are persons. Among many of her accomplishments, I chose to portray the groundwork she laid out so women could vote.
